The Tribeca Film Festival celebrates film, music and culture while simultaneously stimulating an economic boost for lower Manhattan.

Since its inception, the Tribeca Film Festival has drawn in more than two million visitors from around the world and has garnered over $425 million for New York City.

Cadillac was the Signature Sponsor and the Official Vehicle for the Festival, and this year, Cadillac premiered one of the most anticipated vehicles in the country, the 2009 Cadillac Escalade Hybrid. Festival goers were invited to attend the unveiling on May 3rd outside of the Tribeca Cinemas. They also helped determine the winner of The Cadillac Award representing the audience choice for Best Feature Film. The winning filmmaker was C. Karim Chrobog for his documentary, War Child. Chrobog received a cash prize of $25,000.

And back again this year, was the Tribeca Film Festival Cadillac Lounge. These exclusive premiere parties were hosted by both Cadillac and Tribeca Film Festival and included VIP Cadillac transportation for the cast members of some of the festival's the top films.
