About the Cadillac DTS

Discontinued in 2011, Cadillac DTS was synonymous with success, and brought together power, performance and luxury in a full-size, six-passenger luxury sedan that remained virtually unrivaled. The renowned Northstar V8 powered DTS and featured an electronically controlled ignition to optimize combustion and power. This smooth and quiet engine was mated to a proven automatic overdrive transmission known for nearly seamless shifts. The four-wheel independent suspension provided a smooth, comfortable ride. Magnetic Ride Control was available to help smooth things out even further. Advanced technology included the Driver Awareness Package with Side Blind Zone Alert, which helped monitor the side of the vehicle and Lane Departure Warning, which notified the driver when the vehicle drifted out of its lane. Popular options include a navigation system and an Adaptive Remote Start feature. For the ultimate in luxury, DTS Platinum was available and included TEHĀMA6 Aniline leather seats, a leather-wrapped console and instrument panel, and Light Ash wood trim.
