Designed for everyday driving, the STS-V (discontinued in 2009) was developed to deliver supercharged, rear-drive performance with an elegant design statement that was unmistakably Cadillac. At the heart of it was a 4.4-liter version of the Northstar engine outfitted with a positive displacement intercooled supercharger. Inside, hand-wrapped top-grain leather seating surfaces brought a luxe feel into the cockpit, while perforated sueded-fabric inserts helped to keep the driver firmly in place during sharp turns and quick maneuvers. Olive ash burl wood and kinetic aluminum accents rounded out the handsome performance-oriented driver’s cockpit.
