Cadillac global sales rise 10 percent in September

With substantial gains in its top three markets, Cadillac global sales increased 10 percent in September to 24,593 units. U.S. sales rose 7.8 percent, while increases in China and Canada were 14.7 percent and 34.6 percent, respectively.

Cadillac Partners with Design House Public School

Cadillac announced a unique project in which its all-new luxury crossover, the XT5, will debut at venues around the world in partnership with acclaimed fashion designers Public School. At a private kickoff event, Public School announced it would debut its Pre-Fall collection on the runway in Dubai, in collaboration with the launch of the first-ever 2017 Cadillac XT5. It is also creating an XT5-inspired capsule collection for the special invited guests at the Dubai show in November.

Cadillac global sales continue upward trend year to date

Continued demand for the ATS product line, SRX crossover and Escalade SUV led Cadillac global sales to an increase over the first eight months of 2015. Contraction in the luxury market in China led to a 5.9 percent global sales decline in August to 22,799 units.

Cadillac Names Richard Brekus Global Product Strategy Director

Cadillac has appointed Richard Brekus to the position of director, Global Product Strategy, effective August 17, 2015. Brekus will report to President Johan de Nysschen, joining Cadillac’s management team and leading the brand’s product planning, product management and portfolio planning across the Cadillac’s global regions.

The Cadillac Capsule Collection is comprised of pieces from the Fall/Winter 2015 collections of today’s most influential emerging designers, many of whom showcase their work annually at New York Men’s Day (NYMD), which the brand has supported since its inception.
