SONOMA, Calif. – Johnny O’Connell ripped off a lap at 1:33.732 in the opening minutes of qualifying Saturday morning in his No. 3 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe and it stood up the rest of the way, giving the most recent Pirelli World Challenge winner the pole position for today’s Round 9 in the Cadillac Grand Prix of Sonoma at Infineon Raceway.
