DETROIT – In the hotly contested battle for luxury car buyers, personal experience matters most. So Cadillac is putting potential customers behind the wheel of a 556-horsepower Cadillac CTS-V on a private racecourse.
DETROIT –The Cadillac brand is now ranked among the top 10 in the industry for initial quality (ranking 9th overall), with the Escalade topping the large premium crossover/SUV segment, according to the 2011 J.D. Power and Associates Initial Quality StudySM.
DETROIT – Cadillac reported its second-strongest month of the year in August with total sales up 4 percent at 13,208 units versus August 2010. Retail sales were up 14 percent at 12,260 and were also up 23 percent versus July 2011.
DETROIT – Cadillac continued its 16-month run of year-to-year sales gains, reporting U.S. retail sales increased 8 percent in May to 9,832, led by the CTS family of luxury cars and Escalade line of luxury SUVs.
DETROIT – A new 3.6L V-6 – the segment’s most powerful standard engine – headlines updates to the 2012 Cadillac SRX. It enhances a combination of performance, technology and refinement that is resonating with more luxury crossover customers.
The Cadillac SRX, a fast-rising favorite among midsize luxury crossovers, receives a significant upgrade for the 2012 model year starting in August. A new 308-horsepower 3.6L direct-injected V6 engine gives SRX the most standard power in its class, and includes a driver-selectable ECO Mode for optimal fuel economy.
DETROIT – Cadillac reported U.S. total sales of 11,119 vehicles in July, a decrease of 26 percent from an exceptionally strong July 2010. However, total sales increased 2.4 percent over June and remain up 9 percent for the year.
