DETROIT – Three General Motors vehicles – the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, Silverado full-size pickup and Cadillac CTS sedan – were named finalists today for the prestigious North American Car and Truck of the Year awards, jurors announced at an Automotive Press Association luncheon.
DETROIT – Cadillac’s product-driven sales growth continued through November, with the brand reporting its 18th consecutive month of increasing retail sales in the U.S. For the month, Cadillac’s U.S. sales rose 11 percent, and the brand saw a 25-percent increase year-to-date. November also marks the brand’s 14th consecutive month of double digit year-over-year growth in total sales.
DETROIT – Structured-light 3-D scanning, an advanced measuring technology often used for fine art restoration and reproduction, helped create a “work of art” in the Cadillac Elmiraj concept car – appearing at the Los Angeles International Auto Show through Dec. 1.
DETROIT – The Cadillac ELR will be Smart Grid ready as soon as it comes off the production line. Using the luxury coupe’s extended range electric vehicle technology combined with OnStar’s cloud-based connection, the ELR will be able to communicate with the electric grid and potentially save energy.

Cadillac’s U.S. sales rose 10 percent for the month, and the brand’s 25-percent increase year-to-date makes it the fastest-growing full-line luxury auto brand globally.
