24-Month/Unlimited-Mile Limited Warranty

Our most common Parts and Labor Warranty offers a coverage period on the majority of our Service Replacement Parts, including labor (Genuine GM Parts and most ACDelco parts included), as long as the part was installed at a General Motors dealership. Please visit your local GM dealership to learn more about the warranty parts details and qualifications. GM warrants to the purchaser that it will replace these specific GM/ACDelco Parts for all manufacturer defects, including normal wear and use. This lifetime limited warranty includes labor coverage up to 24 months. Parts that are covered include:

Limited Lifetime Warranty

General Motors Company offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty on specific service parts sold by GM dealerships. This is valid for parts purchased on or after April 1, 2014, and shall remain in effect for as long as the named purchaser owns the vehicle on which the part was installed. GM warrants to the purchaser that it will replace these specific GM/ACDelco parts for all manufacturer defects including normal wear and use. This Limited Lifetime Warranty includes labor coverage up to 24 months as long as part was installed by a GM dealer.

Qualifications:

12-Month/Unlimited-Mile Limited Warranty

General Motors offers a 12-month, unlimited-mile coverage period on these select ACDelco replacement parts, including labor, as long as the part was installed by a GM dealership (see list below):

Parts that include bolts, fasteners, grommets, spacers, shims, washers, and clips

Exclusions

The 24-Month/Unlimited-Miles Warranty, the Limited Lifetime Warranty, and the 12-Month/Unlimited-Miles Warranty exclude the following:

 

  • Fluids, or any additional parts necessary to complete the installation
  • Damage due to improper installation, alteration, or objects striking the part
  • Damage caused by the use of a coolant or coolant mixture not in accordance with the vehicle warranty
  • Improper application; use of part in a manner not specified by General Motors
  • Loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use, or other incidental or consequential damages

 

Original Purchaser's Obligations

 

This auto parts and labor warranty remains in effect for as long as the original purchaser owns the eligible vehicle on which the part(s) was originally installed. The original purchaser seeking a repair must return the vehicle to a Cadillac, Buick, GMC, or Chevrolet dealership. The original purchaser must provide a copy of the original auto repair order showing that a Cadillac, Buick, GMC, or Chevrolet dealership had earlier replaced the warranty-eligible part. The cost of the replacement auto part(s) will be covered, but the customer will pay for the cost of labor. Locate a dealer near you to take advantage of this valuable warranty and the expertise of our technicians who receive exclusive training on your specific vehicle.

PREMIUM CARE MAINTENANCE

You chose your Cadillac for the unmatched driving experience. Premium Care Maintenance helps keep that experience rolling on. It helps provide additional confidence by covering select maintenance services. Most 2017 and newer Cadillac vehicle with the exception of the 2017 Cadillac XT5, are covered for 3 years or 36,000 miles. The 2017 Cadillac XT5 and all 2011 to 2016 Cadillac vehicles are covered for 4 years or 50,000-miles. What’s more, the Premium Care Maintenance program is fully transferable.

COURTESY TRANSPORTATION

The Cadillac Courtesy Transportation program provides alternative means of travel and/or reimbursement of certain transportation expenses if your Cadillac requires warranty repairs within 6 years or 70,000 miles.

We established the Cadillac Aluminum Repair Network to provide access to properly trained and equipped repair facilities to restore your damaged vehicle. We hope you’re never in a collision, but if you are, these facilities  can help repair your vehicle to the Cadillac level of quality.
