EFFICIENT POWER

The compact 1.7L supercharger sits atop the 6.2L V8, generating more efficient power lower in the RPM range than any previous Cadillac supercharged engine.
 

EXOTIC MATERIALS

To support the high performance created by forced induction, titanium intake valves and rotocast aluminum cylinder heads help reduce weight while adding strength.

Every V-Series features specially designed six-piston front, four-piston rear, fixed caliper Brembo® brakes and vented rotors for powerful braking, every time. With that performance in mind, we’ve made Brembo® brakes available in most Cadillacs.

SOLID PEDAL FEEL

Front mono-block calipers are carved from a single block of lightweight aluminum alloy, giving the V-Series’ brakes a firm pedal feel stop after stop.
 

SUPERIOR HEAT RESISTANCE

Created from aluminum and iron, the V-Series’ two-piece front rotors dissipate heat for less warping during high-performance driving.
 

INCREASED ROTOR LIFE

V-Series rotors feature a class-exclusive Ferritic Nitro-Carburizing finish to reduce corrosion, prolong brake life, and to maintain a track-capable pedal feel.
