ANSWERS FROM THE EXPERTS

When it comes to servicing your Cadillac, our Certified Service experts have the answers to your questions.

Who do I contact if I have a concern with my vehicle?

Your dealer's sales or service departments will work to resolve your concerns with the sales transaction or the operation of your vehicle. If your vehicle requires service, we recommend that you call your preferred dealer or visit your dealership’s website. To locate a Cadillac Dealer, please visit the Cadillac Dealer Locator.

When do I need an oil change?

Consult your vehicle Owner’s Manual for the manufacturer’s suggested oil-change interval. Engine oil breaks down over time; so even if the specified mileage has not been reached, auto manufacturers recommend changing the oil regularly. If your vehicle is equipped with an oil-change monitor, you’ll see a “Change Engine Oil Soon" message in the driver information center, alerting you that you should have the engine oil changed within the next 600 miles. The engine oil and filter must be changed at least once a year, even if the “Change Engine Oil Soon” message is not activated within a year.

Can I visit any GM dealership for service or repairs?

If your vehicle requires service, we recommend that you call your preferred dealership or visit your dealership’s website to schedule an appointment for Cadillac Certified Service. Warranty repairs must be performed at a Cadillac dealership. Our Certified Service technicians are trained in performing Cadillac-specific service and repair, and have GM-essential service tools and diagnostics information available to them.

Will I get a loaner vehicle when my car is in for service?

If your vehicle requires warranty repairs during the defined warranty period, alternate transportation and/or reimbursement of certain transportation expenses may be available under the Courtesy Transportation Program.* Several transportation options are available. A loaner vehicle may be an option, but it is best to consult with your dealer for available options.

What do I need to do to maintain my vehicle?

A vehicle’s wiper blades, brake pads, fluids and tires are just a few of the items that should be maintained on a regular basis. Certified Service experts can recommend your vehicle’s optimum maintenance schedule. Your vehicle Owner’s Manual also is a resource to help you understand your vehicle’s maintenance needs. You can sign in to your GM Account to track your service history, view your vehicle Owner’s Manual, watch how-to videos, check your warranty status and more.

How do I contact Roadside Assistance?

Depending on your vehicle’s model year and if you have a select active OnStar or Connected Services plan*, you can request assistance from your vehicle mobile app, your vehicle’s infotainment system, or by pushing your blue OnStar button. If you do not have an active OnStar subscription, please use the appropriate Roadside Assistance number below for service:
