The new Ciel—pronounced “C-L,” the French word for sky—is a four-seat convertible that opens a new chapter in Cadillac’s design and product ascent. The Ciel is a modern interpretation of the large, expressive luxury that is innate to Cadillac. Combining authentic craftsmanship with futuristic details like a twin-turbocharged hybrid power plant and next-generation connectivity, it is an ultimate expression of The New Standard of the World.

Driven by the unique needs of tomorrow’s metropolitan motorist, the Urban Luxury Concept explores the possibilities of auto design and engineering on a compact scale. For example, its dramatic scissor-style doors extend outward and rotate forward, reducing the clearance required to get in and out of the vehicle. The projected fuel economy of the concept hybrid propulsion system could offer fuel economy of 56 MPG in the city and 65 MPG on the highway.
