MY CADILLAC REWARDS TIERS

MY CADILLAC REWARDS TIERS: OVERVIEW

There are three tiers in the My Cadillac Rewards program — Silver, Gold and Platinum.

 

What tier you’re in is based on vehicle spend, or GM non-vehicle spend, and Cardmember status and spend.

 

Progress toward the next tier for My Cadillac Rewards members is reset every year on January 5. As a thank you for being a valued member, we are keeping you in your current tier until December 31, 2023.

TIER PLACEMENT

Silver – Members who spend up to $44,999 on a combination of eligible, new GM vehicle(s) over a three-year period or up to $1,499 annually on paid Certified Service at participating dealerships, eligible accessories, GM Genuine Parts and ACDelco parts, and most OnStar® and Connected Services plans qualify for the My Cadillac Rewards Silver tier. Points expire upon account deactivation or after 5 years of account inactivity.

 

Gold – Members who spend between $45,000 and $109,999 on a combination of eligible, new GM vehicle(s) over a three-year period or between $1,500 and $2,499 annually on paid Certified Service at participating dealerships, eligible accessories, GM Genuine Parts and ACDelco parts, and most OnStar and Connected Services plans qualify for My Cadillac Rewards Gold tier. My Cadillac Rewards Cardmembers automatically start at the Gold tier and remain there as long as their account is in good standing or is not inactive. Gold tier member points do not expire.

 

Platinum – Members who spend more than $110,000 on eligible, new GM vehicle(s) over a three-year period, or more than $2,500 annually on paid Certified Service, at participating dealerships, eligible accessories, GM Genuine Parts and ACDelco parts, and most OnStar and Connected Services plans, or more than $15,000 annual spend for My Cadillac Rewards Cardmembers qualify for the My Cadillac Rewards Platinum tier.

 

Platinum members get exclusive benefits throughout their membership. In addition, they benefit from dedicated GM Rewards Member Support Center advisors. Platinum member points do not expire. Platinum members and Cardmembers who spent enough in 2022 will also receive a credit on their Progress Trackers. This means you’ll get a head start on keeping your exclusive tier because you earned it with your GM spend.

IF I MAKE PURCHASES THAT TAKE ME UP A TIER, IS MY ACCOUNT AUTOMATICALLY UPDATED?

Your account will be updated to the next tier with no effort needed on your part. Tier assignment may take up to 14 days after account verification.

 

Spending progress toward the next tier for My GM Rewards members will reset for 2023 in January. As a valued member, you will enjoy your current tier until December 31, 2023 unless you qualify for a new tier.

HOW LONG DOES TIER STATUS LAST?

Once members obtain their new tier level, status is retained through the following calendar year. For example, if you earn Gold tier status on July 1, you will maintain that status until December 31st the following year.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T MEET THE CRITERIA FOR MY TIER?

If members don’t meet the criteria for their tier status, then they are moved to the next lowest tier status. Silver tier members cannot fall out of their tier unless their account has been inactive for 5 years, and therefore the account will be closed. Members will be notified 30 days prior to a change in tier status. My Cadillac Rewards Cardmembers won't move out of their tier as long as they have a credit card in good standing.

MY TIER STATUS IS NOT CORRECT – HOW DO I GET THAT CORRECTED?

If you feel your tier status is not correct, please contact the GM Rewards Member Support Center via messaging. You may also contact via phone (844.764.2665) Mon.-Sat. from 9a.m. - 8p.m. EST.

HOW DOES THE PLATINUM ROLLOVER WORK?

Spend over $2,500 on OnStar, participating dealership service, parts, accessories and/or spend over $15,000 on the My GM Rewards® Mastercard® by the end of the year. You’ll get to keep the difference between these thresholds and your spend.

HOW DOES PLATINUM ROLLOVER AFFECT MY TIER?

In 2023, you will keep your current tier, and you will see any purchases for GM spend be credited to maintaining your Platinum status.

CAN I RECEIVE MORE THAN ONE PLATINUM ROLLOVER BASED ON MY SPEND IN A YEAR?

Yes, Platinum members can have more than one Progress Tracker rolled over based on GM spend and card spend.

DOES MY SPENDING ON MY GM EXTENDED FAMILY CARD, GM BUSINESS CARD OR GM CARD COUNT TOWARD MY TIER TRACKING SPEND?

No, only spend on the My GM Rewards® Mastercard® will contribute toward your credit card spend tier tracking.

HOW DOES AN ELIGIBLE NEW VEHICLE PURCHASE CONTRIBUTE TOWARD MY TIER?

The MSRP of the vehicle is used for determining your tier. You will be in that tier for the balance of the calendar year the tier was achieved, plus three full calendar years after. If you purchase another eligible new vehicle within that timeframe, that MSRP is added toward your tier status.

HOW LONG DO I GET THE ROLLOVER SPEND IN MY PROGRESS TRACKERS?

Rollover spend will last for one year and is based off your spending from the previous year. If you spent over the thresholds for GM spend and card spend, you will receive the difference in your Progress Tracker at the start of next year.
