OPTIQ is now available at Cadillac dealerships nationwide while inventory lasts.

The federal EV tax credit has expired, but some state or local incentives may still be available depending on where you live.

The $7,500 federal clean vehicle tax credit established under the Inflation Reduction Act officially expired on September 30, 2025.  However, some state and local governments—as well as utility providers—continue to offer EV-related tax credits, rebates and other benefits. These programs vary by region and may include financial incentives, charger installation support or access to HOV lanes.

OPTIQ offers an EPA-estimated (RWD) 317 miles of range* on a full charge.

DC public Fast Charging adds up to 81 miles in about 10 minutes;* Level 2 public and the standard 11.5 kW home chargers offer up to 36 miles in about an hour* for fast and flexible daily use.  

OPTIQ offers flexible and fast charging: 

• DC Fast Charging (150 kW, RWD): Adds up to 81 miles in about 10 minutes* 
• Level 2 Charging* (11.5 kW, RWD): Adds up to 36 miles in about an hour*

OPTIQ is offered in five model levels—Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury, Premium Sport and OPTIQ V-Series—each with distinct styling, performance and comfort features. Buyers can further personalize via option packages, wheel choices, appearance packages, and charging and convenience upgrades. 

Luxury (starting at $49,995 for RWD/$53,495 for AWD)* leans toward sophistication, with Galvano Chrome exterior detailing and a refined grille. It shares the core features found in the Sport model—Super Cruise® hands-free driver assistance technology with 3-year OnStar® One plan,* Google built-in* , 19-speaker AKG* Studio Surround with available Dolby Atmos®,* a 33″ Horizon Display™,* a SkyGlass™ roof with power shade and an available dual motor AWD —but with more elegant finishes like 20" alloy wheels with Pearl Nickel paint and a more refined overall aesthetic. The painted black roof and 19.2 kW AC charging module are available as options. 

Premium Luxury (starting at $53,100 for RWD$56,600 for AWD)* includes everything from Luxury, plus premium touches found on higher models: a Head-Up Display, ventilated and lumbar massaging front seats, heated rear outboard seats and more luxurious interior materials. Optional 21″ wheels, painted black roof and charging upgrades are available, offering a balance of comfort and visual sophistication. 

Sport (starting at $50,600 for RWD/$54,100 for AWD)* emphasizes bold design, with Obsidian Chrome exterior accents and a gloss-black grille. Standard features include Super Cruise* hands-free driver assistance technology with 3-year OnStar One plan,* a 33″ Horizon Display™,* Google built-in* , the 19-speaker AKG* Studio Surround with available Dolby Atmos,* heated front seats, a SkyGlass™ roof with power shade and an available dual motor AWD. Premium Sport (starting at $53,600 for RWD/$57,100 for AWD)* includes everything from Sport, plus builds on the Sport model with additional luxury and tech. It adds a Head-Up Display, ventilated and lumbar massaging front seats, heated outboard rear seats, Radiance Lighting™, upgraded choreographed lighting (cornering lamps and leveling), and interior upgrades like patterned Inteluxe accents and available PaperWood trim. Optional 21″ wheels, painted black roof and charging enhancements carry over. 

OPTIQ-V (starting at $67,300, AWD standard)* steps into high-performance territory. It includes all comfort and technology features from Premium Sport, but with a unique V-Series powertrain, tuned suspension, Brembo® performance front brakes and exclusive V-Series design. AWD is standard with no additional cost, and the model is available with Carbon Fiber or Onyx exterior packages for a more aggressive, motorsport-inspired appearance.

Yes—the 2026 OPTIQ comes with a native NACS (Tesla style) port, so it can plug directly into compatible Tesla Superchargers* without needing an adapter. 

The 2026 Cadillac OPTIQ is the first Cadillac EV equipped with a built-in NACS (North American Charging Standard) port, which means it can plug directly into compatible Superchargers*—no adapter required. The battery will automatically precondition upon arrival when you map to a fast charge location via Google Maps* (in GBI). This simplifies access to one of the largest and most reliable fast-charging networks in North America.

Charging speeds will vary based on the station’s output and the charging system in OPTIQ, but most drivers can expect a 10% to 80% charge in about 30 minutes at Tesla V3 Superchargers.* Using the myCadillac mobile app,* you can easily find, charge and pay at select compatible Superchargers across the U.S. and Canada. 

Yes—it warms the cabin more quickly, preserves range and improves efficiency—especially when temperatures drop. 

OPTIQ features a heat pump system designed to boost efficiency and cold-weather performance. This system draws waste heat from key components—like the battery, power electronics, propulsion system and even the cabin's humidity—and recycles it to warm the interior or precondition the battery. 

Instead of relying on a traditional resistive heater, the system uses a refrigerant to transfer captured heat to where it’s needed most. This allows for faster cabin warming and can help extend range in cold conditions. It also helps prep the battery for optimal charging performance.

Yes—all non-V versions of the 2026 OPTIQ offer an available dual motor AWD setup, and the OPTIQ-V comes with AWD standard. 

For the 2026 OPTIQ, Cadillac has expanded the drivetrain options. The base configuration is now rear wheel drive (RWD) with a single motor, producing a Cadillac-estimated 315 horsepower and 332 lb.-ft. of torque.

Across the non-V models, buyers may opt for the dual motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. In this configuration, the 2026 OPTIQ offers a significant performance boost—the AWD version is tuned for 440 hp and 498 lb.-ft. of torque (Cadillac-estimated). This AWD setup replaces the previous model’s AWD system and is more rear-biased in its torque distribution.

The OPTIQ-V is the ultimate driver's car with performance built to take corners. It comes with AWD standard, including Velocity Max, Launch Control and Continuous Damping Control producing 519 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque in Velocity Max (Cadillac-estimated).

So, depending on model and option choices, the 2026 OPTIQ can have all-wheel drive—or you may choose the rear-wheel drive setup for efficiency or cost preferences.
