Vehicles with Dolby Atmos offer an immersive sound experience with a powerful, studio-esque surround system. This feature is designed to let listeners experience an authentic representation of the artist's intent in their music.

ABOUT DOLBY ATMOS

Vehicles with Dolby Atmos have speakers in the headliner and an amplifier, providing a powerful studio-esque 7.1.4 system experience. The surround system works through 7 surround channels above and around the listener. It also has 1 subwoofer and 4 height channels, creating a three-dimensional sound experience.

 

To begin using Dolby Atmos, you need an active compatible streaming service with a compatible streaming provider, such as TIDAL or Amazon Music*† through the Google Play Store†. Once you download the app, you can press the icon on your center display to stream Dolby Atmos mixed playlists or stand-alone songs.

 

*A subscription to a Dolby Atmos-compatible streaming service is required, as well as an eligible OnStar service plan.
