ESCALADE IQ is our all-electric full-size luxury SUV.

It was built from the ground up as an EV—not simply converted from a gas-powered model. Cadillac designed ESCALADE IQ from scratch on a dedicated electric platform, which allowed engineers and designers to optimize everything from battery placement to interior proportions. The result is a vehicle that feels intentionally electric, not adapted.

The interior showcases a 55" Horizon Display™* that spans the dashboard, seamlessly blending the driver’s information cluster and infotainment system* into one ultra-wide digital interface. Materials throughout the cabin are premium, with an available Executive Second Row Package, 126-Color Ambient Lighting and ultra-soft leather-inspired surfaces that enhance both comfort and visual appeal.

2026 ESCALADE IQ is now available at Cadillac dealerships nationwide.

Customers can contact their local dealer for inventory details, test drive availability and to explore a variety of purchase options—including financing, leasing or paying in full. Current offers and GM discount programs may also be available to qualified buyers.

ESCALADE IQ features a hands-free start and shutdown system, designed to make every departure and arrival feel seamless and sophisticated.

Simply enter the vehicle with the key fob, settle into the driver’s seat and press the brake pedal—ESCALADE IQ will automatically come to life without the need to press a start button. This effortless interaction reinforces the luxury ethos of the vehicle, eliminating small frictions and letting drivers focus on the road ahead. 

To turn off ESCALADE IQ, shift into “Park,″ release the brake pedal, unfasten your seatbelt and open the driver’s door. Alternatively, you can tap the “Vehicle Off″ icon on the center display. Some systems may remain briefly active to manage battery cooling or software updates.

Charging times depend on the power source.

2026 ESCALADE IQ uses a CCS1 (Combined Charging System Type 1) port, which is compatible with most public charging networks. A GM-approved adapter is also available to allow charging at DC Fast Charging (Level 3) stations:

• DC Fast Charging (up to 350 kW): Charge up to 117 miles of range* in about 10 minutes when connected to a compatible 350 kW charger. ESCALADE IQ’s 800-volt electrical architecture enables it to accept this high rate of charge efficiently by reducing heat and improving power flow.
• Level 2 (240V): With the standard 11.5 kW wall charger, you can charge up to 22 miles in about an hour.* With the available 19.2 kW charger, you can charge up to 36 miles of range in about an hour*—ideal for overnight top-ups or daytime boosts at home or work.
• Level 1 (120V): ESCALADE IQ comes standard with a 20-ft., 7.7 kW dual-level charging cord. Plugging into a standard 3-prong household outlet provides up to 2.7 miles of range* per hour of charge. Using a 4-prong, appliance-style outlet can deliver up to 14.6 miles of range* per hour—handy for occasional charging in more flexible settings.

Environmental conditions and battery status can impact actual charging times. Like most electric vehicles, ESCALADE IQ charges more quickly when the battery is at a lower state of charge and gradually slows as it approaches full capacity. For this reason, many EV drivers routinely charge to 80% for daily use, which balances efficiency with long-term battery health and faster charging sessions. 

Charging your ESCALADE IQ is designed to be effortless and intuitive—whether you are at home or on the road.

At home, Cadillac recommends installing a GM PowerUp 2: J1772 charger (11.5 kW) or GM Energy PowerShift (19.2 kW) wall charger. These can charge up to 22 miles* and 36.5 miles* in about an hour, respectively. Both options can help to future-proof your garage for high-powered EV needs.

Every ESCALADE IQ comes with a standard CCS1 (Combined Charging System Type 1) port, compatible with most public charging networks. A GM-approved adapter is available for access to DC Fast Charging (Level 3) stations that use the NACS (North American Charging Standard), expanding your ability to fast charge nearly anywhere.

To locate a public charging station, you can use the Charging app in the vehicle’s center display or the myCadillac mobile app.* Once parked, simply open the charge port door—located on the driver’s side front fender—by pressing gently or using the in-vehicle controls. A ring of light illuminates the port for visibility at night, and a motorized version is available on certain trims. When connected to a compatible 350 kW public DC Fast Charge station, ESCALADE IQ can add up to 117 miles of range* in about 10 minutes.

The vehicle will automatically stop charging once your target charge level is reached. You can also end the session manually from the charging station, myCadillac mobile app* or center display. The charge port door will alert you if left open before driving, and motorized versions can be closed with the push of a button.

ESCALADE IQ is also V2H-capable (Vehicle-to-Home), meaning it can provide backup power to your properly equipped home* in a blackout when used with a GM Energy PowerShift Charger and GM Energy V2H Enablement Kit*—transforming your vehicle into a mobile energy resource. 

No. Instead of Apple CarPlay®* or Android Auto™,* ESCALADE IQ features Google built-in*.

While this change may surprise some, especially iPhone®* users, it reflects Cadillac’s move toward a deeply integrated, native experience that offers expanded functionality beyond phone mirroring.

Google built-in* includes apps like Google Maps* and Google Assistant* preloaded in the vehicle, along with access to additional media and utility apps via the Google Play™* store. It allows drivers to control navigation,* audio, climate and other in-vehicle functions without needing to connect a phone. Since it is tied to your Google* account, it also enables a more personalized experience that adapts to your preferences.

One of the major advantages is that the system works independently of any mobile device—useful if you forget your phone or lose service. Voice control via ″Hey Google″* allows for hands-free commands across multiple functions, and real-time Google Maps* routing includes traffic, charging station availability and energy-conscious navigation.*

After an included period (typically three years), certain connected features may require a subscription. iPhone* users can still pair their device via Bluetooth®* to play music, take calls and use Siri®.*

ESCALADE IQ measures 224.3 inches in length, or approximately 18.7 feet.

ESCALADE IQ’s overall width is 94.1 inches with side mirrors extended and 85.3 inches with mirrors folded.

This added size supports a roomy interior and ample cargo capacity. Despite the full-size SUV’s commanding footprint, ESCALADE IQ is remarkably easy to maneuver thanks to 4-Wheel Steer with Cadillac Arrival Mode.* This advanced system reduces the turning radius for smooth low-speed handling and agility in tight spaces. Cadillac Arrival Mode* even enables diagonal movement at low speeds, making tasks like parallel parking and precise garage positioning feel effortless.

Cadillac estimates ESCALADE IQ can travel up to 465 miles on a full charge.*

That makes it the longest-range all-electric SUV on the market today.* It is a benchmark achievement in luxury electric mobility.

To put that into perspective, the average American commuter drives about 40 miles per day—meaning most drivers could go a full week or more without needing to recharge.

This range is also highly practical for road trips. For example, 465 miles can comfortably get you from:

• Dallas to Houston
• Chicago to St. Louis
