HOW TO GET STARTED

STEP 1

Go to alexa.amazon.com or the Amazon Alexa mobile app and log in to your account.

STEP 2

Search for and select the myCadillac skill and click to enable it.

STEP 3

Link the skill to your Owner Center account by entering your username and password.

MYCADILLAC SKILL FOR ALEXA

HOW DOES THE MYCADILLAC SKILL FOR ALEXA WORK WITH MY CADILLAC?

Alexa is totally hands-free. If you have an Alexa built-in device in your home and an eligible Cadillac vehicle, you can remotely start and stop your vehicle's engine, or lock and unlock your vehicle by using your voice.

HOW DO I DISABLE MYCADILLAC SKILL FOR ALEXA?

Like all Alexa skills, it can be disabled through your account at alexa.amazon.com or in the Amazon Alexa mobile app.

HOW DO I REMOVE A VEHICLE FROM MYCADILLAC SKILL FOR ALEXA?

Go to alexa.amazon.com or the Amazon Alexa mobile app and log in to your account. Click the menu button and select your skills. Click on “Your Skills.” Click the myCadillac skill and select “disable skill.” Disabling the skill will remove the vehicle. This does not remove the vehicle from your OnStar account, only from myCadillac Skill for Alexa. To enable the vehicle again it will require a new account linking. Click “enable skill” to start that process; you will need your username and password to log in.

KEY BY AMAZON

HOW DOES KEY BY AMAZON LOCK AND UNLOCK MY VEHICLE?

Key by Amazon links your Amazon Prime account with your Owner Center account and connected vehicle service plan to enable in-vehicle deliveries. With your consent, Amazon will then be able to issue certain remote commands to your linked vehicle, including locating the vehicle, unlock, lock and alert horn and flash lights. In addition, your vehicle’s location and confirmation that remote vehicle commands were executed may be sent to Amazon during the delivery process. The information will be used only for in-vehicle delivery-related purposes.

WHAT IF THE DELIVERY DRIVER CAN’T GET TO MY VEHICLE?

If the delivery driver is not able to locate your vehicle or you are parked in a location that is not publicly accessible, the driver will deliver to your selected backup option. This can be to the building of your delivery address or in-car delivery on the next delivery day. You can make this selection and set up a backup delivery preference within the Key by Amazon App.

HOW DO I KNOW MY VEHICLE IS PARKED IN AN AREA WHERE AMAZON CAN DELIVER?

The Key by Amazon App lets you check if you have parked within range of the delivery location and provides notifications with your expected 4-hour delivery time window (typically between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. for Two-Day Shipping and 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. for Same-Day Delivery).

IS THERE AN ADDITIONAL FEE TO RECEIVE IN-CAR DELIVERY?

No. In-car delivery is free for Amazon Prime members with eligible vehicles and an active connected vehicle service plan.
