ABOUT YOUR SAFETY ALERT SEAT
Available Safety Alert Seat,† if equipped, will automatically pulse the left, right or both sides of the driver seat to identify the direction of a potential crash so the driver can quickly take action. You can also switch to beeping crash avoidance alerts.
How It Works
Small motors inside the seat will generate vibrations on the left, right or both sides of the bottom of the driver seat cushion when prompted by select Driver Assistance Technologies† (see below). Along with visual alerts, these vibrations help indicate the direction of certain detected threats or a situation that might require your attention.
