About the New York Times In-Vehicle App
The New York Times In-Vehicle App lets you listen to “The Daily” news podcast by downloading episodes right to your vehicle.
The New York Times In-Vehicle App is free to use and download on your compatible infotainment system† and does not require you to create an account. A data connection and a OnStar† plan is required.
Getting Started
To get started, download The New York Times In-Vehicle App by opening the APPS† icon or Google Play Store on your vehicle’s center display, depending on your model, and selecting THE NEW YORK TIMES. Launch the app by tapping THE NEW YORK TIMES icon on your vehicle’s center display. After opening the app, accept the Terms and Conditions.
Screen Controls
When you open The New York Times In-Vehicle App, you’ll see two tiles on the screen. Here’s what they do:
- THE DAILY takes you to a list of recent “The Daily” episodes.
- NOW PLAYING takes you to the podcast player, which shows the title of the segment and the date of the podcast. From here, you can:
- PLAY
- PAUSE
- SKIP BACK
- SKIP FORWARD 30 seconds
- REWIND 30 seconds
For your security, please don't include personal info such as phone number, address or credit card details.
