HOW TO CHANGE YOUR NAME AND CONTACT INFORMATION IN MY ACCOUNT

To change your name or contact information, first sign in to My Account and then follow the corresponding instructions.
SIGN IN
a. Navigate directly to the Personal Info page within My Account. You may need to enter login credentials if not already signed in.
b. You can also get to the Personal Info page by selecting the Personal Info tile under the Account section on your My Account homepage.
CHANGING YOUR NAME
To change your name in My Account, follow the steps below:
Desktop & Mobile Browser
On the Personal Info page:
1. Select the Edit link next to your name and make any change necessary in the fields provided.
2. Select the Save button to save name changes.
Mobile App
1. Open myCadillac Mobile
2. Sign in to My Account.
3. Select the account icon.
4. Select Account.
5. You will then be directed to the My Account experience on your mobile browser. From there, you can follow the steps above to change your name information.
CHANGING YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS
Your email is used to log in to My Account and one address will always need to be designated as the Account Login. If only one email address is associated with your account, it will be the default Account Login and you will be unable to edit it. If there are multiple email addresses associated with your account, you may choose which one to use as the Account Login. To make changes to your email address, follow the steps below:
Desktop & Mobile Browser
On the Personal Info page:
1. Select Edit in the Email Address section to change an existing email address or add a new one.
a. Add Another Email:
i. Select the Add Another Email button.
ii. Enter the new email address in the field provided.
iii. If you want to make this new email address your account login, mark the Account login checkbox.
iv. Select Verify.
v. A prompt will appear explaining that a verification code was sent to the new email address.
NOTE: If you do not verify your new email address within 30 minutes, your email change will not take effect.
vi. Once you have retrieved the verification code, enter it and select Continue.
vii. You will see a message informing you that the new email address has been added, and you’ll now see it listed in the Email Address section on the Personal Info page.
b. Change Email Address:
i. Select the Edit link next to the email address you wish to change.
ii. Remove Email: Select the Remove Email link to remove an email address from your My Account profile.
NOTE: You will only be able to remove an email address if you have multiple addresses associated with your account.
Additionally, if you attempt to remove an email that’s designated as your account login, you will see a message explaining that you will no longer be able to use that email to sign in to My Account, and that another of your verified email addresses will be chosen as your default account login.
iii. Account Login Change: If you want to change which email is used as your account login, mark the Account login checkbox and select Save.
Mobile App
1. Open myCadillac Mobile App.
2. Sign in to My Account.
3. Select the account icon.
4. Select Account.
5. You will then be directed to the My Account experience on your mobile browser. From there, you can follow the steps above to change your email address.
ADDING OR DELETING A PHONE NUMBER
One primary phone number must always be entered in your account. If you have multiple phone numbers, and would like to add or delete one or more, follow the steps below:
Desktop & Mobile Browser
On the Personal Info page:
1. Select Edit in the Phone Number section to add a new phone number or remove an existing number.
a. Add Phone Number:
i. Select the Add Another Number button.
ii. Enter the new phone number in the field provided.
iii. Select Verify.
iv. A prompt will appear explaining that a verification code was sent to the new phone number.
v. Retrieve the verification code and enter it in the field provided. (Select Continue if verification does not happen automatically.)
vi. You will see a message informing you that the new phone number has been added, and you’ll now see it listed in the Phone Number section on the Personal Info page.
b. Remove Phone Numbers:
i. Select the Edit link next to the phone number you wish to remove.
ii. Select the Remove Number link to remove the phone number from your My Account profile.
NOTE: You will only be able to remove a phone number if you have multiple numbers associated with your account. Deleting a phone number deletes any alerts assigned to it (e.g., diagnostic alerts). To continue receiving alerts, you will need to add a new phone number and consent to alerts.
Mobile App
1. Open myCadillac Mobile App.
2. Sign in to My Account.
3. Select the account icon.
4. Select Account.
5. You will then be directed to the My Account experience on your mobile browser. From there, you can follow the steps above to add or delete phone numbers.
CHANGING YOUR ADDRESS
One primary address must always be entered in your account. If you want to use multiple addresses, and would like to add or delete one or more, follow the steps below:
Desktop & Mobile Browser
On the Personal Info page:
1. Select Edit in the Address section to edit, add or remove an address.
a. Edit Existing Address:
i. Select the Edit link next to the address you wish to change.
ii. Update information in the dropdown menus and fields provided.
iii. Select Save.
b. Add New Address:
i. Select the Add Another Address button.
ii. Enter new address information in the dropdown menus and fields provided.
iii. Mark the Make this my default address checkbox if you would like to make this new address your account default. If not, leave checkbox unmarked.
iv. Select Save.
c. Remove Address:
i. Select the Edit link next to the address you wish to remove.
ii. Select the Remove Address link.
Mobile App
1. Open myCadillac Mobile App.
2. Sign in to My Account.
3. Select the account icon.
4. Select Account.
5. You will then be directed to the My Account experience on your mobile browser. From there, you can follow the steps above to add or delete phone numbers.
