HOW TO LINK YOUR ONSTAR ACCOUNT TO YOUR MYCADILLAC ACCOUNT

LINK YOUR ONSTAR ACCOUNT TO VEHICLES IN YOUR MYCADILLAC ACCOUNT GARAGE
The easiest way to link your OnStar Account, myCadillac Account and the myCadillac mobile
If a different email address was used to create your myCadillac Account (and as the sign in for your myCadillac mobile app), you can link that account with your OnStar account by following the steps below:
LINKING ACCOUNTS WHEN ADDING A NEW VEHICLE TO GARAGE
1. Sign in to your myCadillac Account in a web browser.
2. Select Add Vehicle or Add Product.
3. Choose Vehicle or OnStar Plan, then select Continue.
4. If existing OnStar plans or vehicle details related to your account are found automatically, they will display on screen.
- If existing details are found, proceed to Step #6 below.
5. If no OnStar plans or vehicle details are found:
- You will see a field to enter the phone number or email address provided to your dealer when registering your OnStar Plan. Enter either and select Search.
1. You may also use your OnStar account number to search for your account by selecting the Use OnStar account number link and entering the account number in the field provided.
- Next, verify your identity by entering a phone number in the field provided to receive a one-time passcode, then select Send.
- Enter the 6-digit code you received and select Continue.
1. If you did not receive the code, it expired or it is not working for any reason, select Request New Code.
6. Check to ensure the OnStar plan and vehicle details now showing on screen are correct. If so, select Confirm.
- NOTE: You may see the following message: “The plan and vehicle below are linked to another email. By selecting confirm, you’ll transfer ownership to your account and remove their access.” Select Confirm to proceed.
7. You will see a confirmation message: “OnStar plan and vehicle added.” Select OK.
8. Your accounts are now linked. Your OnStar plan information and all vehicles associated with your account will now be visible when you log in to your myCadillac Account in a desktop or mobile web browser, or via the mobile
LINKING ACCOUNTS WITH EXISTING VEHICLES IN GARAGE
If you already have vehicles added to your myCadillac Account garage, but they are currently unlinked to your OnStar services, you can connect them by following the steps below:
1. Sign in to your myCadillac Account in a desktop browser, OR
2. Open and log in to your myCadillac mobile
- Select the Account icon (circle with initials).
- Select Account.
3. On the Account Overview page, under Products, select the vehicle you want to link.
- If no vehicles have been added yet, see instructions above about linking accounts when adding a vehicle to your garage.
4. On the Vehicle Overview page, scroll down to find the OnStar & Connected Services section.
5. Select Activate OnStar and Connected
6. On the OnStar Activation page, select the Link Account button.
- Select Link my Account.
- Select Continue to link account.
1. Verify the account number.
If you selected Link Account and were unable to link your accounts, follow the steps below:
1. From the OnStar Activation page, select the Link Account button.
2. On the Link Your Connected Vehicle Services Account page, enter your email or OnStar account number, then select Find account.
- The email needed will be the address used during enrollment at your dealership.
1. If unsure of the email address used, try entering other known emails to locate the correct account.
2. Check known email inboxes (including spam/trash) for your enrollment email, which contains the OnStar Account number.
- If you cannot find your account, call 1-888-4ONSTAR to speak with an Advisor.
3. Once account is located, select Send Code (can choose between phone or email).
4. Retrieve the verification code and enter it to verify your identity.
5. Once identify is verified, select Link Account to link your OnStar account with your myCadillac Account.
- IMPORTANT: After completing this step, your OnStar account number will be linked to the email used to sign in to your myCadillac Account.
For your security, please don't include personal info such as phone number, address or credit card details.
