A HISTORIC DOUBLE-PODIUM VICTORY
Following its historic pole at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA made history once again at Rolex 6 Hours of São Paulo with the first 1-2 finish by a U.S. manufacturer in the Hypercar class. The No. 12—driven by Alex Lynn, Norman Nato and Will Stevens—started the race on pole and took the checkered flag followed by its sister No. 38—driven by Earl Bamber, Sébastien Bourdais and Jenson Button—who started the race in 3rd and finished in 2nd place. It was a dominating performance by the twin hybrid Cadillac V-Series. Rs and their respective crews, including Stevens setting the fastest lap of the race (1:24.498) on Lap 3. This is Cadillac’s 32nd victory in the WEC and IMSA since joining prototype racing in 2017. Cadillac Racing has earned 235 podiums (IMSA/WEC) and 32 poles in that span.
