WHAT’S COVERED

PAINTLESS DENT REPAIR

Minor dents and dings smaller than 4 inches in diameter on exterior body panels are covered, with unlimited covered repairs for the duration of the service contract.

WINDSHIELD REPAIR 

Minor chips and cracks up to 4 inches in length in the windshield caused by a covered road hazard will be repaired.

INTERIOR FABRIC REPAIR

The repair of covered damage such as burns, cuts, rips, or tears smaller than 2 inches in diameter in your vehicle’s seats, upholstery, or carpet. 

KEY/KEY FOB

If your key/key fob is lost, stolen, or damaged, the Appearance Guard Service Contract will cover the replacement cost of a new key/key fob, up to $800 for luxury models for any continuous 12-month period. A 60-day waiting period applies to this benefit. Benefits are available when two keys/key fobs are provided at the time of sale. 

EXCLUSIONS

  • Preexisting conditions present in/on vehicle before coverage was effective
  • Damage caused by a traffic crash or collision
  • Damage to the vehicle’s bumpers, grille, windows, or tires
  • Losses covered under any OEM warranty, manufacturer’s recall, or auto insurance policy

  • Cadillac Appearance Guard is fully refundable within 60 days, if no claims have been filed. After 60 days or if a claim has been filed, you will receive a pro rata refund, less claims paid (where permissible) and any applicable cancellation fee.

  • Not available in Alaska, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Oklahoma, Oregon, Virginia, or Washington.

  • Not available in California, New York, or Wyoming.

  • Unlimited replacement of fuses and interior and exterior light bulbs, such as the turn-signal bulbs, engine compartment lights, and brake lights. See the service contract for the full list of parts covered.

  • Covers one wheel alignment during the term of the service contract.

     

  • Reasonable, necessary, and customary diagnostic charges incurred in conjunction with a covered repair, not to exceed the labor time listed in a nationally recognized labor time guide. Diagnostic time will not be paid for those conditions in which the proper repair is readily apparent to the normal senses of sight, touch, smell, and/or sound.

     

  • Replacement of necessary fluids, oils, greases, lubricants, and approved air-conditioning (AC) gases that must be replaced in conjunction with a covered repair. This coverage does not apply to shop supplies.

  • Replacement of brake pads, belts, and hoses that are damaged and require replacement as a direct result of a covered breakdown. Coverage includes disc brake rotor and brake drum resurfacing required as a direct result of a covered breakdown.

  • Online purchase not available to residents of California, Florida, Iowa, and Maryland.
