Since 2017, every podium finish has been a testament to the passion, performance and progress that drives Cadillac Racing. With each IMSA season, fans witness the shared perseverance of the groundbreaking prototype V-Series.R race cars and boundary-pushing drivers.

PODIUM FINISH STREAK CONTINUES AT LONG BEACH

Cadillac Racing continued its strong start to the season with an exciting podium on the streets of Long Beach, as the No. 31 Whelen Cadillac V-Series.R of Jack Aitken and Frederik Vesti finished second. After advancing from fourth to the lead early, the team’s strategy was impacted by a late full-course caution, ultimately securing its fifth consecutive podium finish dating back to the 2025 season. The No. 40 Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R finished eighth, while the No. 10 entry placed 23rd following a late-race incident.

 

Cadillac Racing now has 107 podiums (23 GTP®, 84 DPi®) since joining the IMSA prototype competition in 2017. The No. 31 Whelen Cadillac V-Series.R has recorded five consecutive podium finishes dating back to the 2025 season. The teams now turn their focus to the next IMSA GTP event at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca for the Monterey SportsCar Championship, taking place May 3.

Cadillac Racing persevered this season, demonstrating a true mastery of performance and racing excellence. With six poles in nine races and a seventh race with a front-row start, the remarkable technology and durability of the V-Series.R proved its mettle.
 

The No.01 Cadillac Racing V-Series.R team also claimed the first-place podium finish in the finale—Motul Petit Le Mans at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.
