ANOTHER PODIUM FINISH

The No. 38 Cadillac Hertz® Team JOTA V-Series.R—driven by Jack Aitken, Sébastien Bourdais and Earl Bamber, placed second, earning their team their best finish of the FIA World Endurance Championship.

 

Lining up on the grid in P2, the No. 38 crew had a strong race, fighting at the front and being in contention for a podium throughout the entire six hours. The No. 12 Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA V-Series.R took P9, picking up valuable championship points. Recovering from a tricky qualifying, No. 12 lined up for the race in P15. Going with an alternate strategy to be out of sync with their pit stops to the front runners, the No. 12 team fought hard through to the end. Despite a five-second penalty, Will Stevens gave the team enough buffer to remain in the top 10.  

 

Next up for Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA, the teams are heading to Oyama, Japan, for the FIA World Endurance Championship race, 6 Hours of Fuji on September 27.
