6 HOURS OF FUJI

DOUBLE POINTS FINISH

Cadillac Hertz® Team JOTA turned in a double points finish in the 6 Hours of Fuji FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) race in Oyama, Japan.

 

The No. 38 V-Series.R race car, driven by Earl Bamber, Jack Aitken and Sébastien Bourdais, turned in a P5 finish, starting in P7 after qualifying was canceled due to poor visibility. The No. 12 car piloted by Will Stevens and Norman Nato finished P7, jumping three spots from its qualifying position, competing hard on a track known for its difficulty in passing.

 

The No. 38 car hung on to a top 5 finish, losing a spot at a fuel stop after progressing to P4 during hour four. The No. 12 car overcame a drive-through penalty to gain valuable track position.

 

Next for Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA is the 6 Hours of Barcelona October 16–18.
