MOTUL® PETIT LE MANS

FINISHING WITH A BANG

The first-place finish at MOTUL® Petit Le Mans is the second victory in a row for the No. 31 Whelen Cadillac V-Series.R. In September, the team took home the win at the Battle on the Bricks® at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. With success in 2024 as well, Cadillac finishes this season as the back-to-back champion of Petit Le Mans.

No. 31 V-Series.R was quickest in two of the three practice sessions, earned a front-row start, led the most laps, set the quickest lap of the race and had flawless pit stops, which all combined to secure the hard-fought victory. Cadillac now holds five Petit Le Mans victories—the most of any manufacturer—and scored its 33rd IMSA triumph.

“Drivers Jack Aitken, Earl Bamber and Frederik Vesti, and every single member of the team can be proud of today’s victory. Racing is in our DNA and showcases our innovation while helping us develop future technologies for our cars and customers,” said John Roth, vice president of Global Cadillac.
