Get Started with Turn Signal Activated View on ESCALADE IQ

The available Turn Signal Activated View feature is designed to show you the side view of your vehicle and/or trailer when you activate your turn signal. It can help you see the side of your vehicle and/or trailer while you change lanes or complete your turn to help avoid curbs and other obstacles.

Before making a lane change, always check the mirrors and glance over your shoulder. Improper use could result in serious injury to you or others.

1. You may have to enable Turn Signal Activated View in your vehicle’s Settings menu or the in-vehicle trailering system (if your vehicle has that feature).

2. When the feature is enabled, after you activate your turn signal, it will show you a view of the side of your vehicle and/or trailer on your center display while you’re changing lanes or turning.

a. This view will stay on your display for two seconds after you move the turn signal lever back to the neutral position. That way, you can see the side of your vehicle or trailer as you complete the maneuver.

3. On vehicles with the Trailering App, you can also activate the Trailer Length Indicator. The Trailer Length Indicator is a red box that appears on your camera display when your trailer is straight that’s designed to be long enough to help you make sure you have enough room to change lanes.

a. To use this feature, you need to have the Trailering App, a trailer profile and your trailer’s measurements entered in the profile.
