HOW TO USE VELOCITY MAX

If equipped, Velocity Max allows you to unlock additional horsepower and torque from your Cadillac EV for enhanced acceleration and driving power. Discover if your vehicle has Velocity Max and learn how to use it.

Note: Using Velocity Max depletes your battery faster than normal drive modes. When using this feature, be sure to conserve enough driving range to reach your destination.

DOES MY VEHICLE HAVE VELOCITY MAX?

To check if your vehicle is equipped with Velocity Max:

Check for a “V” button on the steering wheel. (Found in 2025 model or newer Cadillac EVs.)
Open the Driver Mode Control app on your center display. If you see the option for Velocity Max, this feature is available on your vehicle.

HOW TO TURN ON VELOCITY MAX

Using the Steering Wheel Button:
- Press the “V” button once.
- For V-series Cadillac EVs, press and hold the “V” button.
  - Note: In V-series models, a short press of the “V” button will activate V-mode instead of Velocity Max.
Using the Center Display:
- Open the Driver Mode Control app.
- Select the Velocity Max icon to activate the feature.

A “VMAX” icon will appear on your Driver Information Center when Velocity Max has been activated and is ready for use.

Optional: While Velocity Max is active and the vehicle is stationary, you can press the accelerator and brake simultaneously to activate Launch Control. This allows you to access optimal torque when releasing the brake.

HOW TO TURN OFF VELOCITY MAX

Deactivate Velocity Max and restore your vehicle to normal power and acceleration settings.

Using the Steering Wheel Button:
- Press the “V” button again.
- For V-series Cadillac EVs, press and hold the “V” button again.
Using the Center Display:
- Open the Driver Mode Control app.
- Select the Velocity Max icon again to deactivate the feature.
